Together with Saraswati Sangha, Threads of Joy donated brand-new saris to women in the community. Thank you to our donors and supporters for helping make this day possible.

Established in 1917

Founded in 1917, Saraswati Sangha is a para club, or neighborhood club, in Purba Satgachia, West Bengal. Its roots stretch back more than a century.

We are grateful to Saraswati Sangha for organizing the distribution, bringing the community together, and welcoming Threads of Joy.

Brush Hour recap

Brush Hour was Threads of Joy's first community fundraiser, held on August 15, 2026 at Wheelhouse in Downtown Willow Glen.

Guests came together for an instructor-led painting experience, light snacks, conversation, and a shared purpose: helping provide brand-new saris to underserved communities.
